ChangBERT FC1S13 vs CIB-80 and F-IH cooktops
ChangBERT’s FC1S13 / 103016-A, CIB-80 / 103020-Aa, F-IH-01SS / 102714-A and F-IH-02SS / 102718-A are all single-zone induction cookers, but that shared silhouette hides different control and electrical plans. Start with the exact plug and manual, then compare the heat controls and timer. A “1,800 W” headline does not tell you whether the receptacle, heat interface or countdown matches your kitchen.
Two 120-volt plugs that are not the same
The FC1S13 manual lists 120 V, 60 Hz, 15 A and a polarized NEMA 1-15P plug. The CIB-80 manual also identifies a NEMA 1-15P arrangement. By contrast, the F-IH-01SS manual specifies 120 V and a NEMA 5-15P plug. These plug codes are not interchangeable labels for the same fitting. Check the actual receptacle and the rating label; do not assume an adapter repairs an electrical mismatch.
The F-IH-02SS is a different electrical choice again: its exact manual specifies 240 V, 60 Hz, 13.3 A and a NEMA 6-15P plug. The maker’s page headline mentions 208–240 V, but the model-specific manual table says 240 V. The higher 3,200 W rating therefore belongs with that documented 240 V setup, not as a reason to buy the model for a typical 120 V outlet. If an electrician or the manufacturer has not confirmed your installation, do not improvise.
Heat-only levels versus a separate Temperature mode
The FC1S13 is the control outlier in this group. Its quick reference says there is no separate Temperature mode; its manual describes ten numbered Heat levels, with level 5 as the default. The product page advertises 400–1,800 W across ten fixed levels, but the manual does not map each number to a watt value. Treat it as a numbered-power cooker rather than a pan-temperature setting appliance.
The CIB-80 and both F-IH versions document separate Heat and Temp controls. The CIB-80 manual lists power settings from 200 to 1,800 W in 200 W steps and a 120–460°F Temp range. The F-IH-01SS manual likewise lists 200–1,800 W and 120–460°F. The 02SS range is 400–3,200 W with a 120–500°F Temp range. These are cooktop controls, not a wired food probe or a promise that the pan surface stays at a measured temperature. If you specifically need food-internal temperature feedback, check for a probe mode in the exact model manual instead.
Timer duration is a real model difference
The FC1S13 manual allows a timer up to 360 minutes. The CIB-80 manual’s detailed directions give 9 hours 59 minutes, as do the detailed F-IH instructions, even though summary text elsewhere rounds the latter to ten hours. For a supervised simmer that needs the longer documented countdown, FC1S13 is not the right fit if the time must exceed six hours. A countdown ending in automatic shutdown is still not permission to leave an active cooking appliance unattended.
Make the pan and counter plan fit
Each model is one zone, so none can heat two pans at the same time. The exact manuals require compatible flat-bottom magnetic cookware and give a 4.75–10.25 inch contact-surface range. Measure the pan’s flat magnetic base, not its outer rim. ChangBERT’s product galleries depict cookware, but that imagery does not establish what ships in the box. Confirm included items from the exact offer.
The manuals also give model-specific safety and placement directions. FC1S13 says indoor use only, calls for at least four inches of free space around the appliance and warns against running another appliance on the same outlet or circuit. Apply the instructions supplied with the other models as well; do not transfer the FC1S13 wiring warning to a different unit or ignore it on the FC1S13 because another nearby model has a different plug.
Which exact model belongs on your shortlist?
Choose FC1S13 when numbered heat levels are acceptable, its documented 120 V / NEMA 1-15P connection fits, and a maximum 360-minute timer works for the supervised routine. The CIB-80 shares that plug family but adds separate temperature controls and a longer countdown. The F-IH-01SS adds those controls with a NEMA 5-15P plug. Consider F-IH-02SS only for a compatible 240 V / NEMA 6-15P supply and if its higher listed output is useful; its wattage alone does not establish a faster real-world result.
All four manufacturer pages showed Sold Out when checked on October 24, 2026. That dated status is not a forecast about future inventory or every retailer. If another offer appears, search the exact family and model number—for example “FC1S13 103016-A”—and compare the seller’s rating plate, plug, supplied manual and box contents. The FC1S13 review, CIB-80 review, F-IH-01SS review and F-IH-02SS review preserve those exact-model boundaries.
