Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does the selected package list a four-quart pan?
Yes. The selected option names PIC Flex with 4 QT Pan and lists the 4 QT Pan in its contents.
Explore this need in the finder →Can its one cooking zone heat a second pan at the same time?
No. The larger vessel does not alter the cooktop’s one-zone layout.
Explore this need in the finder →Does this offer list the nine-inch fry pan?
No. The nine-inch fry pan appears in its own selected bundle, not this four-quart configuration.
Explore this need in the finder →The PIC Flex 4-quart-pan offer is the deeper-vessel package in Nuwave's 30501 product family. The page identifies the parent appliance as PIC Flex model 30501 and offers a selected option named “PIC Flex with 4 QT Pan,” with its own SKU 30527-E and variant ID 50309395546405. The option adds a named pan, not more cooktop output or another burner.
Think about vessel depth, not just cooktop output
A four-quart vessel can be useful when the job calls for more depth than a small skillet—such as preparing a larger quantity of soup, sauce or a one-pot meal—if the exact included pan suits that recipe. The manufacturer page labels it “4 QT Pan,” and the selected gallery image shows a deep copper-colored vessel over the black cooker. The page does not spell out the pan's material, coating, actual interior dimensions, oven suitability or lid inclusion in the itemized “What You Get” list. Do not infer those details from the illustration. Verify the seller's exact package contents and the vessel maker's use and care guide if one of those specifications is essential.
The bundle contains one cooking zone; a lower setting does not change the appliance's 1,300 W maximum electrical rating. If the everyday need is two pans at once, compare a true double-zone cooktop rather than treating a larger pot as additional capacity for simultaneous cooking.
Pan fit remains an induction question
Nuwave's Model 30501 guidance says to use induction-compatible cookware centered on the cooking ring. It identifies three inches as the smallest acceptable cookware diameter and says pans up to 10 inches can be used, with slower heat transfer at the outside edge; larger pans are not recommended. Those are cookware-size instructions, not a stated magnetic-base minimum. The package page does not publish the 4-quart pan's base diameter or material, so someone with strict induction-compatibility requirements should confirm the included vessel before buying. A four-quart capacity label does not tell you how broadly its base contacts the cooktop or how quickly it heats.
When deciding between the three options, compare what the exact selected package lists: base PIC Flex plus recipe book; a nine-inch fry pan plus recipe book; or a four-quart pan. The four-quart configuration's “What You Get” list does not identify a recipe book, so this review does not claim one is or is not packed. Nor does the photo alone prove that a lid ships with the pan. If a cookbook, lid, specific cookware material or flat magnetic base is essential, ask the seller to confirm the itemized box for SKU 30527-E.
Temperature settings and staged cooking
The Model 30501 owner guide lists six named temperatures—100, 175, 275, 375, 425 and 500°F—and says the setpoint can be adjusted in 10-degree steps. The screen value is a cooktop command rather than a food probe reading or a guarantee of uniform pan temperature. Nuwave currently advertises 45 temperature settings on the product page, but that figure is not reconciled with the guide's 100-to-500°F range and 10-degree steps. The guide also describes different default presets in separate passages. Neither an exact count nor an unquestioned default is needed to understand the package; if those details affect a recipe, check the guide and panel on the unit being sold.
The Program control supports as many as 10 stages, with a delay period counted as one of them. That could automate a change from a boil to a simmer in a single four-quart vessel. It cannot cook a second dish in parallel. The published timer maximum appears in an unusual hours/minutes format and differs between the 30501 and 30537 publications; no normalized maximum is asserted for this variant. A buyer who requires a long specified countdown should confirm it rather than assume the printed form means a conventional number of minutes.
Counter setup and version caveats
Nuwave's Model 30501 instructions state 120 V, 60 Hz and 1,300 W, and limit the appliance to household use. They call for a stable, level, nonmetallic surface indoors, three inches of clearance at the back, sides and top, clear ventilation and a separate suitable outlet. The guide says not to use it outdoors. Keep the glass away from contact while cooking and allow it to cool before cleaning. The page reports a 10-by-12.5-by-2.25-inch body and 9-pound weight for the appliance, not a tested dimension or weight for the larger package and pan together.
There is an identity wrinkle worth checking before buying for service support. The Nuwave product page labels the parent offer model 30501, while the 4-quart option's package SKU is 30527-E and the page links instructions labeled 30537. Those codes do not by themselves prove which appliance model sits in the box. A separate Nuwave-authored 30501 owner guide supports the 30501 operating details, but it does not settle the package's appliance-code crosswalk. Compare the exact rating label and supplied manual if a model-specific parts or warranty question matters.
Who should select this configuration?
Choose the 4-quart option if you specifically want the larger named vessel, have a counter for its listed 10-by-12.5-inch appliance footprint plus ventilation space, and only need one active pan. Choose the nine-inch kit if a smaller fry pan is more appropriate; choose the base Flex if you already own compatible cookware and do not need either included pan. A Flex Pro 30503 is another single-zone option with a higher listed 1,400 W ceiling and 5°F temperature steps in its own exact guide. A double-zone Duxtop or Nuwave PIC Double is a better direction for simultaneous cooking. Nuwave marked the direct Flex listing sold out when checked; that does not establish permanent discontinuation or availability elsewhere.

Paper, software and setup details
Cookware fit and manual discrepancy
The 30501 guide states acceptable cookware from 3 inches and says pans up to 10 inches can be used, with slower heating toward outer edges; larger pans are not recommended. The 3-inch figure is cookware diameter, not a verified minimum magnetic-base diameter. Center flat compatible cookware.
Electrical and placement note
The 30501 manual identifies 120 VAC / 60 Hz / 1300 W and household use only. It says do not use outdoors and calls for a stable, level, nonmetallic counter, three inches of clear space at back, sides and top, unobstructed vents, and a separate suitable outlet.
Body dimension order
Nuwave product page reports 10 in (L) x 12.5 in (W) x 2.25 in (H). This records the page’s axis labels; no independent physical measurement was made.
