Nuwave PIC Gold (30211) review

A one-zone 1,500 W countertop PIC with 600/900 W alternatives, 100–575°F setpoints in 10°F steps, and a model-30211 Owner Manual; Nuwave showed the direct offer sold out.

Sources checked 2026-10-23 · Our editorial approach

The PIC Gold 30211 is not the PIC Gold Pro 30292LW. The exact 30211 manual supports the controls and 120 V rating, but its pan-size section conflicts: one passage says 10 inches, another 12 inches. Nuwave marked the exact listing sold out on 2026-10-23. A separate Nuwave renewed PIC Gold offer identifies model 30211R / SKU 30211R-D, links the model-30211 manual and uses a dedicated renewed-offer listing; its maker page marked it sold out on 2026-10-24. This is a refurbishment-condition variant of the same assessed cooktop function, not a new operating configuration.

A useful fit for

A source-grounded fit for a one-pan household routine where a 600 W floor and a documented 100–575°F / 10°F setpoint range matter, and where checking the exact pan guidance is practical.

The main tradeoff

The Nuwave direct offer is sold out, and the manual contradicts itself about a 10-inch versus 12-inch maximum pan. It remains a one-zone indoor-only 1,500 W appliance; it cannot replace a double burner or meet an outdoor-use need.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can PIC Gold 30211 heat two pans at the same time?

No. Its exact product page and model-labeled manual describe one cooking zone; its ten-stage routine changes one sequence rather than adding another burner.

Explore this need in the finder →
Is a 600 W selectable mode confirmed for model 30211?

Yes. The model-labeled manual lists 600, 900 and 1,500 W, with 1,500 W as the default. Nuwave marked its direct offer sold out on the checked date.

Does model 30211 offer 10°F setpoint steps up to 575°F?

Yes. Its exact Owner Manual and Quick Start Guide identify 30211 and describe 100–575°F in 10°F increments. That display is a cooking setting, not a pan-surface or food thermometer.

Nuwave still lists the PIC Gold 30211, but its exact product page marked the offer sold out on 2026-10-23. Keep the model in view if you are comparing used, prior-stock or other exact-code offers, but do not mistake it for the PIC Gold Pro 30292LW. The 30211 has its own page, Shopify SKU 30211-E, exact manual and Quick Start Guide. Those sources document a one-zone 1,500 W cooker with 600 and 900 W alternatives and temperature setpoints from 100°F to 575°F in 10°F steps.

A separate Nuwave Renewed PIC Gold offer identifies model 30211R / SKU 30211R-D and says the unit was inspected and restored with genuine Nuwave parts. Its page links the same model-30211 manual and repeats the Gold’s operating specification set, so this is a refurbished-condition offer rather than evidence of another cooking design. The renewed listing itself was also sold out when checked; treat its condition, limited-warranty wording and stock separately from the standard 30211 offer.

A useful low-power option, not a second burner

All three wattage choices—600, 900 and 1,500 W—belong to the same one-zone appliance. A 600 W setting can be useful when the full default output is unnecessary, and a selectable low level is a more meaningful control distinction than a marketing claim about “cooking anywhere.” It does not guarantee compatibility with a crowded household circuit, generator or RV installation. The exact 30211 manual calls for 120 VAC, 60 Hz and 1,500 W; it says to use a separate outlet from other operating appliances and is for household use only, not outdoor use.

The controls offer six named preset temperatures and 10°F adjustment steps across 100–575°F. That is materially different from the 5°F increments listed for the Pro Chef page. The display is a cooking setpoint, not a measurement of the skillet surface or a wired food-probe reading. The manual documents a programmed sequence of up to ten cooking stages. Stages can change temperature and time for a recipe, but cannot heat a second pot at once. For a single-saucepan or one-skillet task, the sequence may be useful; for two-pan meals, it will not replace the Nuwave PIC Double 30601 or Double Pro 30603.

Cookware fit is the weak point in an otherwise exact manual bridge

Both the exact product page and model-30211 documents identify the product, but the Owner Manual contains an internal contradiction about large cookware. One passage says pans up to 10 inches may be used and that larger pans are not recommended; the repeated notice says up to 12 inches and repeats the slower-edge-heating warning. It also gives an acceptable cookware minimum of 3 inches, but does not identify this as a minimum magnetic pan-base diameter. We therefore leave the matcher’s maximum pan and magnetic-base limits unknown. If either diameter is essential, compare your pan to the actual burner and ask for clarification rather than choosing the broader number simply because it appears later.

The exact guide explains that induction needs ferrous, magnetic cookware and advises centering a vessel on the heating circle. Iron, enameled iron and steel, and stainless steel with a magnetic base are examples; copper, glass, aluminum and pottery-type cookware are listed as incompatible. A magnet is a useful first check, but the manual notes that a weakly magnetic base may still fail to heat efficiently. The heating-area reference is not the same as the exterior rim of a pan.

Counter space, care and package facts

The product page lists a 13.75-inch depth, 12.375-inch width, 2.625-inch height and 5.3 lb weight. The exact manual calls for at least 3 inches of free space at the back, sides and top, unobstructed vents, and a stable, level, non-metallic counter. It warns that the glass may retain heat after cookware is removed. After cooking, unplug the unit and let it cool completely before cleaning; the manual describes a damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive soap for the glass and a dish brush for vent debris. It has a short power cord but does not give a length to use for a reach requirement.

Nuwave itemizes a recipe book on the exact sold-out listing. It does not list a probe or included cookware. Although the control supports setpoints, that is not evidence of a wired internal-food probe. The product page and the model-30211 documents each say one year of manufacturer warranty coverage, subject to the written terms and normal household-use conditions.

Where it fits among the other single-zone PICs

The 30211’s 600 W floor is lower than the 900 W lowest choice listed for Pro Chef 30792LW, but its maximum is 1,500 W rather than 1,800 W. Its 10°F controls are more widely stepped than the Pro Chef page’s 5°F claim. The Diamond 30592LW also lists 600/900/1,400 W and a lighter 4.2 lb body, but its exact page links 30511 manuals, so temperature increments, voltage and pan limits are not confirmed for that code. Gold 30211 is stronger if you value a model-matched manual; it is weaker if current direct availability or a non-conflicting large-pan recommendation is essential.

Because Nuwave marked this exact offer sold out, it belongs in comparison research, not a claim of current stock. If you consider another seller, ask for the model number 30211 on the rating label and the correct current manual; do not substitute Gold Pro 30292LW instructions. Compare the PIC Pro Chef and PIC Diamond, read the portable induction buying guide, and keep the exact 30211 page, Owner Manual and Quick Start Guide together when confirming the exact item.

Paper, software and setup details

Cookware fit and manual discrepancy

The exact manual calls for induction-ready cookware, at least 3 inches in diameter, centered inside the heating circle. It contains two conflicting large-pan instructions: one says up to 10 inches and another says up to 12 inches, with slower heating at the outer edge. The manual does not identify its 3-inch minimum as a magnetic pan-base diameter. For matching, maximum diameter and magnetic-base minimum are unknown; verify the booklet with the specific unit.

Electrical and placement note

Exact model-30211 rating page: 120 VAC / 60 Hz / 1,500 W. Manual says household use only, not for outdoors; stable, level non-metallic surface; at least 3 inches of space at back/sides/top; vents clear; use a separate outlet from other operating appliances. A short cord is stated, but no exact length is supplied.

Manual-version differences

The 30211 product page, exact Owner Manual cover/rating page and Quick Start cover all agree on model 30211. The Owner Manual itself has contradictory 10-inch and 12-inch large-pan guidance. Its text prints maximum timer as 99 hours and 60 minutes, which is represented as 6,000 minutes by direct hour/minute conversion; confirm current control behavior with the supplied booklet.
